Neil served as a special agent with IRS Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) for more than twenty-five years, including ten years as a supervisory special agent. During Neil’s career with IRS-CI, he conducted and oversaw highly complex investigations involving corporate fraud, public corruption, organized crime, identity theft, narcotics trafficking and insurance fraud, as well as violations of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). Neil is the three-time recipient of the Public Service Award from the US Department of Justice in recognition of his meritorious service with IRS-CI.
Following his career with IRS-CI, Neil served as a contract senior forensic accountant with the Office of Inspector General - US Department of Transportation. More recently, Neil served as a contract asset investigator with the Financial Litigation Unit of the US Attorney’s Office - Eastern District of New York.
Neil presently serves as a contract on-the-job instructor with IRS-CI’s New York Field Office. In his capacity as an OJI, Neil is helping to develop the technical and investigative skills of the office’s newest agents.
