Jennifer Koo is an attorney and Partner at Sales Tax Defense LLC. The firm specializes in multi-state sales, use, and transaction taxes. Jennifer has been with the firm for 16 years. She presents legal expertise to clients ranging on the audit level, to the administrative appeals level before different State taxing authorities, to the Appellate Division in New York State courts. She previously served as Chair to the Association Membership Committee, the Business Law, Tax, and Accounting Committee, the Attorney Accountant Committee, the New Lawyers Committee and Vice Chair to the Women in Law Committee. In addition, she led a team in creating a video and a written book on the history of the Nassau County Bar Association, which can be seen on the Bar Association’s website.
Jennifer regularly writes articles on sales tax which have been published in the Nassau Lawyer and the newsletters issued by The National Conference of CPA Practitioners Nassau/Suffolk Chapter and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Nassau Chapter.
