This seminar will cover the latest developments in New York State’s 2020-2021 budget bill, including NY’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. We will discuss the tax impact of working remotely and common questions concerning displaced employees. We will also discuss new decisions, rulings, and administrative releases affecting New York’s personal income, sales, and corporate taxes, as well as the impact of recent Tax Department and Attorney General enforcement initiatives. Finally, we will review various tax incentive programs, as well as recent changes in New York’s Abandoned Property law and enforcement.
