Liz Vaz is an attorney, based in Hauppauge NY, focusing her practice on Divorce and Mediation. Having worked in the traditional litigation model of divorce for several years, Liz has seen the destruction that can occur when private family decisions are left to the courts to decide. She also witnessed her parents’ destructive divorce and has committed her professional career to doing things differently. Liz is dedicated to helping families resolve their differences with dignity, with confidentiality and, as applicable, without ever going to court.
Liz graduated from SUNY Stony Brook, with a degree in Psychology and earned her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She is also the founder of The Long Island Collaborative Divorce Professionals, Inc., a group of specially trained attorneys, family support specialists and financial experts, all dedicated to saving families time, money and emotional trauma during times of divorce.
Guiding families toward the best path for their situation is Liz’ passion and her life’s work.
