I started working in the IRS as a Revenue officer in 2004.
I was promoted to a Supervisory Revenue Officer in 2010 and presently work out of the Hauppauge NY office
I am responsible to provide oversight and guidance to eleven Revenue Officers assigned to Group 22, which cover zip codes located in Nassau and Suffolk County. One of the main responsibilities of the Revenue Officer is the collection of delinquent taxes and securing delinquent returns in the field where the business or taxpayer is located. Revenue Officers conduct tax investigations to promote voluntary tax compliance of businesses and individuals.
