Scott Kestenbaum is an Associate at Kestenbaum & Mark LLP, a boutique law firm located in Great Neck, New York. Mr. Kestenbaum represents corporations, individuals and estates concerning sensitive domestic and foreign tax issues resulting in civil and criminal controversies with the Internal Revenue Service, New York State, as well as other state and local tax authorities, including related litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. Kestenbaum also represents individuals and entities regarding purchases or sales of homes and commercial buildings, and representation of landlords and tenants in leasing transactions.  Mr. Kestenbaum is a member of the New York Bar, the ABA Section of Taxation, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Kestenbaum obtained his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and received his Master’s in Taxation from Yeshiva University. In 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 Mr. Kestenbaum was selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in Taxation.  In 2019, Mr. Kestenbaum was selected to Schneps Media Stars Under 40, and named the Co-Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Business Law, Tax & Accounting Committee. In 2021, Mr. Kestenbaum was selected as a member of the Nassau Academy of Law Advisory Board.  He has previously lectured on matters concerning tax controversy, including federal and state criminal tax investigations and litigation.
