Kenneth (Ken) Corbin, Chief Taxpayer Experience Officer, IRS
The Taxpayer Experience Office was created to ensure that the views and experiences of taxpayers and their professional representatives would be factored into all aspects of IRS operations. In this newly created role, Mr. Corbin works with business units and offices across the IRS, including Chief Counsel, the Independent Office of Appeals, and the National Taxpayer Advocate. He also works in coordination with the National Taxpayer Advocate, an independent organization inside the agency that helps taxpayers with issues that cannot be resolved with the IRS.
Mr. Corbin began his career in government service at the Atlanta Service Center in 1986. His experience includes 10 years in submission processing, three in accounts management, six in compliance services, and three in the Taxpayer Advocate Service, and numerous executive assignments across the agency.
